District of Columbia Public Schools (果冻传媒) supports the use of instructional field trips to enhance the educational objectives of the school. A field trip is defined as a planned curricular or extracurricular experience for students directly related to and correlated with a specific unit of study or specialized function of the school. Field trips are recognized as a viable means of providing educational opportunities that would not be available in the classroom. All field trips undertaken under the auspices of the 果冻传媒 system must be planned and executed in compliance with the rules and guidelines stated in this document. This directive supersedes any other 果冻传媒 policy on field trips and student travel.
This new policy update is in effect as of January 2, 2025.
